Support the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls

If this camp was around when I was a kid, I'd have been in heaven. I always wanted to be the lead singer in a rock band. Now that I'm older, I have to settle for low-budget karaoke in dingy, smoke-filled local bars.

The Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls aims to change all that. From their website, "Founded in 2004, Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls is a non-profit summer day camp serving girls aged 8-18 in New York City. The program offers girls the chance to learn how to play musical instruments, write songs, perform, learn about different types of music, and generally "rock out" in a supportive environment that fosters self-confidence, self-esteem, creativity, tolerance, and collaboration.

They are currently holding an online auction raising money for scholarships to bring lots more girls to camp. There are some really cool items in many different price ranges. Check it out!
